Wickett & Craig harness leather. Solid brass. Pick your size or go custom, shipped in 3-5 days.

Most belts are bonded scrap wrapped in finish, and they fail the same way every time — the layers separate, the edge frays, the strap stretches out and never comes back.

This one is a single piece of 9-11 oz Wickett & Craig Traditional Harness, cut from one strap. Nothing glued, nothing lined, nothing to come apart. They vegetable-tan it in Curwensville, Pennsylvania, then hot-stuff it with waxes and oils while it's still warm, so the fats live inside the leather instead of sitting on top. It's why harness leather sheds rain, breaks in instead of breaking down, and darkens into a patina over years rather than cracking in a season.

The buckle is solid brass on a heel bar — swap it whenever you want a different look, no stitching to cut. Back out the Chicago screws and it takes any custom buckle.

Edges are left raw. Harness leather was built for tack and work gear, and a rough edge is how that leather has always been finished. It wears in and softens with the strap instead of chipping off the way a sealed edge does. Burnished edges are available on the custom belt.

Go custom and you also pick the tip shape. Matt will call you to work out your measurement before we cut the strap, so the buckle lands on your hole and not the last one on the belt. Either way it ships in 3-5 days, not three weeks.
